A late Victorian diamond quatrefoil brooch, set with mixed old-cut diamonds, the openwork mount with foliate design, the floral central panel inset with an old cushion-cut diamond measuring approximately 5.3 x 6.3 x 3.6 mm, approximate colour and clarity SI1/2, J/K, the brooch measuring approximately 4.8 x 4.5 cm, the silvered mount with gilt reverse, unmarked.
Provenance: Estate of the late William Lloyd George, 3rd Viscount Tenby (1927-2023), he was the son of Gwilym Lloyd George, 1st Viscount Tenby (1894-1967) and the grandson of David Lloyd George, 1st Earl of Dwyfor (1863-1945) the British Prime Minister from 1916 to 1922 during WWI.
