Note: Kean was Born in the parish of Sittingbourne, Kent and enlisted age 18 years, 5 months, 11.6.1886. 11.6.1886. Served South Africa 16.9.1899 to 27.5.1905, number 19 company. Discharged 16.1.1905 whilst serving with number 63 company. Home was Birkenhead, Cheshire.
