A Meissen coffee can, c.1800, painted with a scene of a golden pheasant cock and hen bird in a landscape, with gilt rim, foot rim and handle, with cross swords mark and star to base, with hand written card from Ferguson. 6.5cm high.

Provenance: Estate of the late William Lloyd George, 3rd Viscount Tenby (1927-2023), the grandson of David Lloyd George, 1st Earl of Dwyfor (1863-1945) the British Prime Minister from 1916 to 1922 during WWI.
