A 1950s full length satin and silk dress embroidered with gold and green leaves on a silver grey ground. Fully lined, zip to the back. Approximate size uk 8, Bust 90cm, Waist 80cm, Hip 95cm, Length from shoulder to hem 144cm.

Note: Worn to the 1953 Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II by The Right Honourable Mrs Ursula Lloyd George, Lady Tenby.

Provenance: Estate of the late William Lloyd George, 3rd Viscount Tenby (1927-2023), he was the son of Gwilym Lloyd George, 1st Viscount Tenby (1894-1967) and the grandson of David Lloyd George, 1st Earl of Dwyfor (1863-1945) the British Prime Minister from 1916 to 1922 during WWI.
