A W. Watson & Son silver plated Tranter patent  revolver, WITH Octagonal barrell, semi-automatic action, signed W.Watson & Son, 373 high Holborn, London, Tranter patent 9474, the barrel stamped 320, with checkered walnut grip in a Watson & Son fitted box, barrel 9.5cm, overall length 24cm.
Provenance: Estate of a London gentleman, a life-long gun and weapon collector.

Fully working on both single and double action, retaining some original silver plated finish to the barrel and frame, mostly worn around the frame, barrel, trigger guard, muzzle and upper frame, a few small rust patches, walnut grip generally in good order with a few minor nicks in places, some verdigris around the hammer.
