A Boer War medal pair awarded to: 2653 Private Ernest Hughes Wright, Army Ordnance Corps. Comprising: Queen’s South Africa medal with 2 clasps Natal, Transvaal (2653 Pte E. Wright A.O.C.) and a King's South Africa medal with 2 clasps South Africa 1901 and South Africa 1902 (2653 Pte E. H. Wright A.O.C.).

Note: Ernest Hughes Wright was born in Oundle, enlisted 12/11/89 in ASC aged 21, to AR 11/12/94, recalled for AOC 9/10/99, discharged 11/10/02, re-enlisted as a motor mechanic in ASC Mech Tpt 27/8/15 aged 47, discharged 19/2/19.
