A late 19th century French cavalry sword, marked Manufacture d`Armes de Chatellerault JH (steel supplier Jacob Holzer) on backstrap, regulation pierced and slotted steel semi bowl guard, forward sloping cap shaped pommel, ribbed shaped composition grip, in a steel scabbard with single ring, and stamped numbers, together with a Montreux walking stick and two silver topped canes.
