A mid 20th century paste stone dress tiara, with gold mesh and paste stones set on a silver coloured mount, together with another paste stone tiara (a/f), and a gilt metal and paste stone dress necklace. (3)
Provenance: believed to have been worn by the Right Honourable Gwilym Lloyd George, to the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II in 1953. From the Estate of the late William Lloyd George, 3rd Viscount Tenby (1927-2023), he was the son of Gwilym Lloyd George, 1st Viscount Tenby (1894-1967) and the grandson of David Lloyd George, 1st Earl of Dwyfor (1863-1945) the British Prime Minister from 1916 to 1922 during WWI.
