King George V and Queen Mary, a pair of signed photographs of the King and Queen, each signed in ink and dated 1922, the mounts inscribed W & D Downey, 61 Ebury St. SW. Both in similar leather frames with gilt tooling and easel supports. Photos: 28.5 x 18 cm; frames: 43.5 x 33 cm.

Provenance: Estate of the late William Lloyd George, 3rd Viscount Tenby (1927-2023), he was the son of Gwilym Lloyd George, 1st Viscount Tenby (1894-1967) and the grandson of David Lloyd George, 1st Earl of Dwyfor (1863-1945) the British Prime Minister from 1916 to 1922 during WWI.
