An emerald, diamond and platinum ring, set with an oval old cut emerald with an approximate weight of 1.60 carats, surrounded by diamonds with a combined approximate weight of 0.45 carats, size M, 4.0 grams.

Generally in good condition, with no chips to any of the stones, but a couple of very minor scratches to the surface of the emerald, that can only just about be seen under 10x magnification. This is a vintage style modern ring, therefore there is no age wear or damage commensurate with age. The emerald is a vibrant hue that is well saturated throughout the stone and comes alive in person, there are likely signs of light treatment to the emerald which is usual with emeralds, as well as a few internal fractures and a black inclusion to the bottom of the stone. The brilliant cut diamonds are a good match, with a good lustre, a couple of small inclusions. Shank in good condition with no signs or repair/sizing/damage. No other marks are present except for ‘PLAT’.
